May 15, 2019 – On this day, we are celebrating the Feast Day of Saint Isidore and the world was graced.
Isidore the Farm Labourer, also known as Isidore the Farmer (Spanish: San Isidro Labrador), was a Spanish farm worker known for his piety toward the poor and animals. He is the Catholic patron saint of farmers. It has been told that Saint Isidore would usually attend Mass at one of the churches in Madrid before going to work, One day, his fellow farm workers complained to their master that Isidore was always late for work in the morning. Upon investigation, the master found Isidore at prayer while an angel was doing the ploughing for him.
In celebration of the Feast of Saint Isidore, Amazing Grace is emulating Saint Isidore.
