October 31, 1451 – On this day, Christopher Columbus was born and the world was graced.
Christopher Columbus was an Italian explorer, navigator, and colonist who completed four voyages across the Atlantic Ocean. Columbus discovered the viable sailing route to the Americas, a continent which was not then known to Europeans. He is credited with the opening of the Americas for conquest and settlement by Europeans.
In celebration of the birthday of Christopher Columbus, Amazing Grace is dressed as man who discovered America!!!
