October 9, 1940 – On this day, John Lennon was born and the world was graced.
John Lennon was an English singer, songwriter, and peace activist who co-founded the Beatles, the most commercially successful band in the history of popular music. As a solo artist, he wrote "Imagine" which became the best-selling single of his solo career. The song’s lyrics encourage the listener to imagine a world at peace without the barriers of borders or the divisions of religion and nationality and to consider the possibility that the whole of humanity would live unattached to material possessions.
In celebration of the birthday of John Lennon, Amazing Grace is cosplaying as John Lennon during his New York years but instead of looking like John she looked more like Ozzy Osborne.
