Our Daily Grace!!!

January 4, 1785– On this day, Jacob Grimm was born and the world was graced.

Jacob Grimm was a German philologist, jurist, and mythologist. He is known as the discoverer of Grimm's law (linguistics), the co-author of the monumental Deutsches Wörterbuch, and the editor of Grimm's Fairy Tales, originally known as the Children's and Household Tales which is a collection of fairy tales first published on December 20, 1812. The first edition contained 86 stories, and by the seventh edition in 1857, had 211 unique fairy tales including Cinderella, Rapunsel and the Little Red Riding Hood, just to name a few.

In celebration of the birthday of Jacob Grimm , Amazing Grace is dressed as the Little Red Riding Hood.
