Patty

Our Daily Grace!!!

February 5, 1974 – On this day, Patty is born and the world was graced.

Patty is a cute little girl who lives in house that is right next her best friend Jimmy’s House in Kansas City, so they naturally became the best of friends. They're a delightful duo that stick together all the time. Any sport is OK with Patty! She likes tennis, roller skating, and baseball. She can bat and pitch as well as any boy. When it comes to studying, she'd rather not, especially writing essays and doing homework. She's bright, cheerful, tomboyish, and a little clumsy!

In celebration of the Patty, Amazing Grace is transformed as Patty.

Tiny Poem is a sweet girl character from the Japanese company Sanrio. She has white feathery hair, and a tuft of it is gathered with a pink ribbon. She wears a baggy pink dress and an apron tied with a purple bow. She is barefoot. Riding on the breeze, she loves playing among the green trees, deep in the mountains. Her favorite flowers are dandelions. She gets on very well with her boyfriend Daichan.

My Melody

Our Daily Grace!!!

January 18, 1975 – On this day, My Melody was born and the world was graced.

My Melody is a little girl rabbit who always wears a red or pink hood that also covers her ears and is Hello Kitty’s best friend. Her birthday is January 18 and now lives in the suburbs of London, England, United Kingdom. Like Hello Kitty, My Melody is rather popular in Asia and can be found on children's toys and merchandise. My Melody was first released in 1975 and the first related merchandise was released at the end of that year. At first she was mostly marketed toward young girls, but like Hello Kitty her popularity has increased within women of all ages, especially in Asia. According to The New York Times, this character is "moderately successful" in terms of popularity but shows no signs of reaching the global popularity of Hello Kitty.

My Melody's popularity waned toward the late 1980s, and the only goods produced were stationery and candy. According to a reader survey published in Strawberry News (a magazine published by Sanrio) in 1996, My Melody came out amongst some of Sanrio's most popular characters and as a result, due to popular demand, standard merchandise started re-appearing beginning in February 1997 featuring the original red hood. Goods with the pink hood were re-released in 1999 and as of 2000 there were goods released with multiple color hoods.

Kuromi

Our Daily Grace!!!

October 31, 2005 – On this day, Kuromi is born and the world was graced.

Kuromi is My Melody's rival, who is a white rabbit wearing a black jester's hat with a pink skull on the front and a black devil's tail. The skull's facial expression changes to match Kuromi's mood. Fittingly, her birthday is Halloween (October 31st). Her name translates from Japanese to English as "black (Kuro) beauty (mi)."

Kuromi's appearance is also similar to those of cartoon characters from the 1990s such as Pichu from Pokémon. Kuromi has become a popular character for the punk, scene, and goth crowds due to her appearance.

Although Kuromi may be devilish, tough and tomboyish, she's actually very girly and is attracted to good-looking guys! She enjoys writing in her diary, whilst hooked onto romantic short stories and making mischief. Her favourite colors are black and hot pink. Her favorite food is shallots, all kinds of meat, and in recent Kuromi merchandise cherries have been shown. Since Kuromi enjoys cooking, she is mostly into meaty food; especially shallots as her favourite.

Kuromi is the friendly self-proclaimed counterpart to My Melody. Although she has warm feelings, her feelings are more inclined to rivalry too.

In celebration of the Kuromi, Amazing Grace is transformed as Kuromi.
