September 12, 1981- Birthdate of Jennifer Kate Hudson. Of all her many achievements, it was the Oscars Best Supporting Actress award that really stood out. Hudson got the Academy nod for playing Effie White in the 2006 movie, Dreamgirls.
And what about the prospect of Amazing Grace being a Dreamgirl? Need I say more?
