Glenn Close

March 19, 1947 – On this day, Glenn Close was born and world was graced. 

Glenn Close is an American actress, singer and producer. She is the recipient of numerous accolades, including three Tony Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, and three Primetime Emmy Awards. A seven-time Academy Award nominee, she holds the record amongst actresses to have the most nominations without winning. In 2016, Close was inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame. 

She played as Cruella de Vil in the 101 Dalmatians movie in 1996 based on Walt Disney's animated 1961 movie adaptation of Dodie Smith's 1956 novel The Hundred and One Dalmatians. It grossed $320.6 million in theaters against a $75 million budget. 

In celebration of the birthday of Glenn Close, Amazing Grace is metamorphosed into Cruella de Vil.
