Prince Charming

Our Daily Grace!!!

April 27, 1902 – On this day, Harry Bayless Stockwell was born and the world was graced.

Harry Bayless Stockwell was an American actor and singer. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri. Stockwell made his film debut in the 1935 film Here Comes the Band. However, his claim to fame came in 1937, when he provided the voice of "The Prince" (seen at the beginning and again in the finale) in Walt Disney's animated classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Prince Charming is a fairy tale character who comes to the rescue of a damsel in distress and must engage in a quest to liberate her from an evil spell. The Prince first sees Snow White singing at her wishing well. The prince immediately falls in love with her and her voice. He later reappears to revive her.

In celebration of the birthday of Harry Bayless Stockwell, Amazing Grace is transformed as Prince Charming.
